Find: 2018 Sep
Classification: Ordinary chondrite (LL7)
History: Found in september 2018 by Hammo Oulguirah. Bought in Agadir from finder.
Physical characteristics: Crusted stone with light grey interior.
Petrography: (J. Gattacceca, CEREGE) Highly recrystallized and brecciated chondrite. No relict chondrules was observed in the ~1 cm2 studied polished section. Plagioclase typical size 100 μm. Opaque minerals are Fe,Ni metal (mostly under the form of zoned taenite), FeS, chromite.
Geochemistry: Plagioclase An10.2±0.2Ab86.2±0.4Or3.7±0.2 (n=3). Chromite Cr#=0.87.
Classification: Ordinary chondrite (LL7). Type 7 from the texture, absence of chondrules, Wo content of orthopyroxene.
Specimens: Type specimen at CEREGE. Main mass with Jean Redelsperger.
