Bought by Jean <span class=\"searchword\">Redelsperger<\/span> from Zaid Oualguirah in 2023 in Morocco.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MBNormal\"><strong>Physical characteristics<\/strong>: Black stone with remanents of fusion crust. Cut surface reveals a dark fine-grained interior, with small chondrules.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MBNormal\"><strong>Petrography: (J.<\/strong> Gattacceca, <i>CEREGE<\/i>) Chondrules with average apparent diameter ~200\u00b5m and chondrule fragments set in an abundant fine-grained iron-rich matrix. Opaque minerals are troilite, pyrrhotite, magnetite. Metal is found almost exclusively as inclusions in anhydrous silicates. X-ray diffraction analyses over a ~2 cm2 area on a polished section (D. Borschnek, <i>CEREGE<\/i>) reveal the presence of phyllosicilates and calcium carbonates, as typically observed in type 2 chondrites using the same experimental setup.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MBNormal\"><strong>Geochemistry<\/strong>: Olivine Fa<sub>15.1\u00b117.0<\/sub>, range Fa<sub>0.40-48.1 <\/sub>(n=7). Cr<sub>2<\/sub>O<sub>3<\/sub> in ferroan olivine 0.40\u00b10.18 wt% (n=6).
