NEA 138 Lunaire #2 – 8,4 g

466,84 $

NEA 138 is a feldspathic anorthosite breccia. It is a “puzzle” rock formed in the Moon’s highlands (the primitive, light-colored lunar crust). It consists of mineral fragments (such as anorthite, olivine, and pyroxenes) that were crushed, mixed, and fused together during violent asteroid impacts on the lunar surface.

This meteorite was discovered in Libya in 2026.

About fifteen years ago, lunar meteorites were sold for almost 1000 euros per gram !

A very nice acquisition for your collection !
