The Tissint meteorite fell on July 18, 2011 in the region of El Aglâb, in eastern Morocco, near the town of Tata.
It is the nomads who told the scientists that in the early morning of Sunday, July 18, 2011, they were awakened by a strong detonation as well as the military present in the area.
Tissint is a Martian meteorite classified as shergottite.
A Martian meteorite fall is observed on Earth about every fifty years, so it is a very rare event on the scale of a human life.
The Tissint fall zone is perfectly located with gps points and has been studied by Moroccan scientists.

Aydar 006 is an ordinary chondrite of type H3. It was found in a concentration area called Aydar by Lahsen Oussalah in 2019. 6 pieces for a total of 1020 g were discovered at 8.69 km south west of Lebouirat.
This is the 6th classified meteorite discovered in this area.
It is a very nice meteorite with a nice patina.

A stone weighing 134 g was found in the Sahara.
A sample was submitted for analysis and classification to the University of Washington in Seattle (A. Irving). NWA 6348 has been determined to be a metachondrite (Irving et al. 2005). NWA 6348 was classified by A. Irving as the first metachondrite from the parent body of chondrite L and was classified as type L7 chondrite.
Few fragments of this type of meteorite are available for sale.

It was discovered in 2011 near the village of Lemluia in the Western Sahara.
